and 3.5G Wireless WLAN, GPRS, GSM, GPS and Bluetooth the IT-800 can be used extremely flexible. Along with the rapid data communication the terminal offers also telephone functionality and can therefore replace mobile phones completely. Further features are GPS for locating the exact position, a camera with autofocus and flash for fast image documentation as well as a laser scanner or CMOS imager for 1D or 2D codes.

Despite the high-class PDA design with a comfortably light weight and handy dimensions the IT-800 is developed under the ISO 13407 Human-Centred Design guidelines and can withstand the stress of an industrial environment completely. The less than 350 g light device fits into a shirt pocket without problems. At the same time sunshine, rain, snow as well as typical impacts and hits in the industrial use are not dangerous for the IT-800. Due to the environment protection class IP54 against dust and water, 1.50 m drop protection on concrete and an operating temperature range of -20° C to 50° C the device can be used in nearly every working environment.
