The DT-X7 is a grip-type handheld terminal with laser scanner. This very light terminal has been designed in accordance with the concept of human-centred design for interactive systems, based on the internationally recognized ISO 13407 standard. The DT-X7 has versatile communications, WLAN, Bluetooth and IrDA. Its contoured design makes it comfortable to hold, and quick and easy to use. And its unique shape allows for faster, more accurate barcode scanning. The keyboard further prevents incorrect data entry, and at the same time ensures minimum stress, even at the end of a long day.

The new Casio DT-X7 has been developed using important customer feedback with the foundation of ISO 13407, adopting a human-centred design process. The rounded shape and centre of gravity allows easier pick-up, handling and positioning during long work-shifts with the small size and weight allowing the DT-X7 to be easily stored within a pocket or on a neck/waist strap when not required. The laser scanner has an illumination angle designed to follow the operator's eyeline - saving seconds off every single product scan, potentially a very large saving during as typical work period. The positioning of the barcode scanner trigger and function keys makes the DT-X7 very easy to use for both right and left-handed people. Communication options are numerous, making this one of the most versatile, lightest and rugged hand-held barcode scanners and data collection devices available today. The DT-X7 is an excellent communicator, with feedback on successful data entry through sound, a bright visual LED or a vibration in the hand.
