The portable B-SP2D, compact, lightweight and versatile for wireless printing applications. This 2" portable printer from TOSHIBA TEC has an ultra-compact, high performance design that makes it ideal for producing quality barcode labels as and where you need them. Interfaces

Based on its hugely successful predecessor the B-211, used in major portable applications the world over, the B-SP2D is completely compatible with B-211 software and supplies. It can communicate with pocket PCs or other mobile and static devices at an amazing six times faster than the B-211, either via its serial, infra-red, Bluetooth™, or WiFi™ interfaces.

Labels and receipts up to half a metre in length can be issued either in batch or peel-off modes. Loading the labels in either mode is only a matter of ‘drop and close’ thanks to the removable peel roller.

With successful completion of 3rd party interoperability testing and all other requirements of the Cisco Compatible Extensions Program*, the B-SP2D printer is now compatible with Cisco Aironet® access points.

Speed

As with all TOSHIBA TEC products, speed is of key importance, and with a maximum print speed of over 3 inches a second and the latest high-speed 32-bit processor there’s certainly no standing around!

Compact, light and hands-free

The B-SP2D can easily fit in the palm of your hand. Weighing in at only 380 grams including the battery, the B-SP2D leads the way in portability. It can be worn either vertically or horizontally using the adjustable belt clip. Optional carry cases that incorporate shoulder straps are also available.

Efficient battery use

The ultra-light lithium ion battery allows for at least 600 40mm high labels to be printed before the battery status indicator reminds the user that charging is required. Battery power is also conserved with the new variable automatic power-off function.

Low cost of ownership

Equipped with a high quality 203dpi thermal head that has an expected life of at least 25 kilometres, the new B-SP2D assures a lower overall cost of ownership. It has been designed for use in all types of environments, and its rugged rubber casing protects it from drops of up to one and a half metres.
